2009 Top 50 College Fantasy Football Running Backs
College fantasy football is a little bit different than NFL fantasy football. While its hard to argue the importance of having a high-scoring quarterback in pro fantasy football, filling in the running back positions with stud players is generally priority no. 1 in any NFL draft.
In contrast to the pro game, the first round of most college fantasy football drafts will be dominated by quarterbacks and filled in with a few other elite players at the skill positions.
In 2009, college fantasy football running backs are led by Ball State’s MiQuale Lewis, the top scoring returning running back in college football from 2008. Lewis scored 22 touchdowns on the ground as a junior last season, totaling 2,061 yards of offense for the Cardinal team that finished 12-2 and no. 22 in the final BCS standings.
