The USA advertising industry is in the doldrums, much like the economy itself.  Advertising revenues for the first half of 2009 are down 15%.

But, marketers will always go where the boys are and during the Fall, American men are involved with the passion of fantasy football.  27.7 million Americans play fantasy football and they spend up to 9 hours per week planning and plotting strategies.  There are 70 million leagues and the average player plays in 2 1/2 leagues.

Certainly, we all know about the growth of NFL fantasy football, but there is also significant growth in college fantasy football since CBS Sports began using real player names in its game last year.
