NCAA 10 Rankings: Helpful For Fantasy Football?

Player ratings for this year’s edition of NCAA football 10 have been out for months, but is there anything you can take from those ratings to help you draft your college fantasy football squad?

Personally, the crack staff at College Fantasy Coach is totally bummed that there will be no version of the game released for the Wii in 2009. This was our favorite game series each year when we owned a PS2.

The most glaring difference between the video game and our college fantasy football rankings is the lack of mid-major studs in the video game ratings. Our projected no. 1 college fantasy football player – Houston’s Case Keenum – isn’t listed in the top 5 quarterbacks. Ditto for Ball State’s MiQuale Lewis, our no. 1 running back.

Maybe the video games are a little more in touch with reality? Possibly, but we’re really not sure.

Anyway, see below for the top five players at each offensive fantasy football position in NCAA 10, with their overall player rating.

Is there someone EA should make the ratings higher for? Let us know. Oh, and in case you didn’t know, the game drops July 14 on PS3, X360, PS2, and PSP… but not on Wii.

P.S. – all the info you need on football video games is available in our newest hub about (you guessed it) football video games.

can u post the ratings for the other positions. also i think that mccoy, tebow, and bradford should all be the same rating. they are apart by 2, but just for the sense of compition.

NCAA Football 10 is great! I love to play this game. … also when I play this awesome game, It looks very realistic and the awareness will real put some realism into the game hope the rest of the game play will be realistic.

  3. David Says:

last year ncaa college football 09 had jason smith of baylor, the number 2 overall pick in the nfl draft, as a 74 overall and second on the baylor depth chart at left tackle.

  4. Scott Says:

I feel the quarterbacks are missing Zac Robinson, how does Reesing and Clark make it over Robinson. Also, I wish EA would add real world updates online, for instance, if a team loses a starter for the season in real life, EA updates that for the season… It would be great to see a real world league you play once a week, would increase the play of the common user more.

  5. USC FAN Says:

Ohio State is really overated why, does everyone thinks they are going to be great. They lost their Defense, runningback, and recievers

  6. HOOK 'EM Says:

Okay, David. Along with Jason Smith being terrible, Brian Orakpo was an 88 i think and 2nd on the depth chart for Texas. He was getting preseason awards like crazy. Its not like he came out of no where. And another thing, there is no way that Dezmon Briscoe or my boy Jordan Shipley should be ranked higher that USCs Damian Williams. Williams is the 4th best collegiate wideout. And USC FAN, i agree. Ohio State is overrated, the play in the worst BCS conference and lose BCS games year after year because they cant play with that level of competition outside of the conference.

  7. GOOOO! Says:

Ohio State is going to work USC in Columbus.

  8. blakaneze232 Says:

Aj Green should be way better he's better than hulio jones. green's overall should be about

    a 98

  9. jimm Says:

jacquizz rogers and cj spillier are WAY overrated. i think rogers is an 85 and spllier and 89.

  10. SCrealnationalchamps Says:

Taylor Mays should be a 99 and Joe Mcknight should be in the top 5 runningbacks

  11. Bryan Says:

I agree with/jimm…CJ Spiller is WAY overrated and jacquizz rogers, well, we’ll find out if he contributes this year just how overrated he will be.

  12. Go Beavs!!!! Says:

Jacquizz is better than Jahvid Best, Best is only hyped more because quizz got injured. He was beating Best in every statistical category before the injury.

  13. Flithy Says:

  14. Flithy Says:
