College Football Week 3 Top 25 Picks
DubVee BeeZee has made his picks for ten of Saturday’s Top 25 contests. Do with this information what you will… highly disagree, take it as fact, call your bookie with the same picks. Just don’t send your bookie after BeeZee if it turns out he’s wrong.
Picks are made based on point spreads from Wednesday, where applicable. Winner (based on spread) will be highlighted in bold.
SPREAD UPSET ALERTS: Some really big spreads this week for some top 25 teams. While I don’t think anyone expects SMU (+36.5) to beat Texas Tech on the field, Texas Tech hasn’t won a game by more than 25 points this season. Similar deal this weekend with North Texas (+41.5) and LSU. With such a huge spread, it’s hard to imagine LSU covering.
Line setters are even spotting Western Kentucky four touchdowns (+28) against Alabama this weekend. ‘Bama beat Clemson by a 24 points in week 1, but only scored 20 points last weekend against Tulane. Got to like the Hilltoppers with a four TD spread.
