SPREAD UPSET ALERT: (11) Texas (-24) versus Florida Atlantic. There’s no doubt that the Longhorns are the better team on the field, but FAU and quarterback Rusty Smith are going to test Texas’ revamped defense. Texas also struggled last season in their opener against Arkansas State. Sounds like that 24 point spread Texas has is going to get beat by Florida Atlantic, even if they start the season 0-1.
