Bradford Wins Heisman
Sam Bradford of Oklahoma is the 2008-09 Heisman Trophy winner. But, the biggest prize in college football, the national championship, still awaits Bradford and the Oklahoma Sooners.
The trophies that you compete for are probably not as prestigious as the trophy that Bradford won, but your golf trophies probably still have the same important spot in your house that Bradford has. You are just as proud of winning that golf trophy–even if it was for the fifth flight.
Same with your son’s baseball trophies or your daughter’s soccer trophies. They are important to them and they are important to you as parents.
So, while they may not make national news like Bradford did when he won the Heisman. You can bet that your sports family is equally proud as Bradford’s family is.
